What are the materials of common sealing gaskets and rubber gaskets?

As we all know, vacuum is inseparable from good sealing. Vacuum sealing technology is an important means to ensure the vacuum degree of the system. Common vacuum sealing technologies include rubber seal, magnetic fluid seal, adhesive seal and metal seal, etc. Let's learn about these sealing methods and their characteristics.
The main products of rubber gaskets are: O-ring gaskets, silicone gaskets, nitrile rubber gaskets, neoprene gaskets, EPDM rubber gaskets, fluororubber gaskets and other rubber gaskets.
The commonly used materials are neoprene, natural rubber, EPDM rubber, acrylate rubber and other special rubber gaskets. Their physical properties are resistant to oil, acid, alkali, abrasion, high temperature and low temperature.
In terms of application, EPDM rubber (mainly used for gaskets requiring water resistance, water vapor resistance and aging resistance), natural rubber (mainly used for gaskets requiring elasticity), butyl rubber (Gaskets requiring good sealing performance), nitrile (Gaskets requiring oil resistance), and silica gel (food grade gaskets); Sealing gaskets and rubber gaskets are widely used in anti-static, flame retardant, electronic, chemical, pharmaceutical, food and other industries.
There are also special fluororubber and silicone rubber gaskets with wear resistance, pressure resistance and high temperature resistance. Rubber gaskets made of NBR, SBR, Cr, EPDM and other materials have two states: elastic (foamed pore structure) and solid, which can meet different sealing, heat insulation, sound insulation, cushioning, waterproof and air tightness functions. With oil resistance, acid and alkali resistance, cold and heat resistance, aging resistance, etc., rubber gasket manufacturers can make rubber gaskets into various shapes of sealing gaskets in customization.
